MC20 and MCPura use a carbon monocoque with defined lift points; a jack pad or strap bearing on the carbon sill crushes the sandwich structure, so these go down on wheel straps only. The butterfly doors hinge at the A-pillar and arc up through roughly the height of the roof — interior trailer height is measured before a door is opened, not after, and with a car alongside there is no room to open one at all, so the driver is out before the car reaches its final position. The front axle lift raises 50 mm and works to about 40 km/h, then reverts automatically, so it is re-armed at the ramp each time rather than assumed to be holding. GranTurismo models from 2007 to 2019 have a fixed front lip and no factory lift; approach angle is the constraint and the deck goes fully to the ground. Bora and Merak use Citroën-derived high-pressure hydraulics for brakes, seats and pop-up lamps, and the accumulator bleeds down while the car sits — the pedal is solid until the engine has run and charged it, so neither is ever rolled off a deck unstarted. GranTurismo Folgore is over 2,200 kg, which changes axle loading against anything else wearing the same badge.
