Koenigsegg
Koenigsegg doors, body panels and ride height are hydraulically actuated, so loading depends on the car's electrical state as much as on physical clearance.

Carrying a Koenigsegg
The dihedral synchro-helix doors rotate roughly 90 degrees, travelling outboard on a single hinge before they lift. On a car already 2,030 mm wide across the body, that arc reaches past anything an enclosed trailer offers. No Koenigsegg door is opened inside a trailer under any circumstance; the occupant is out before the car is positioned, and the car is then rolled, moved on dollies, or winched.
Regera and Jesko carry Autoskin — hydraulic actuation of doors, front hood and rear clam, operable from the key. The fob is bagged and kept away from the vehicle so nothing opens in transit, every panel is confirmed latched by hand, and a 12V maintainer is fitted, because the system needs power to close what it opened and to raise the car at delivery.
Hydraulic front and rear axle lift is engaged before the car approaches a ramp and confirmed risen. It takes several seconds and lowers itself again on a timer, so a car held at the foot of a ramp can settle mid-load. Even lifted, clearance is minimal, and the splitter and side skirts are structural carbon.
Curb weight is about 1,420 kg, which means strap tension needs restraint. Over-tensioning compresses the suspension and preloads the linked Triplex damper for the length of the move. Straps are snug over the tires with soft nets — never chains, never to a wishbone or the tub. The targa panel is confirmed stowed and latched in the front compartment, or transported separately in a case.

The marque
Christian von Koenigsegg founded the company in Sweden in 1994 and delivered the first customer CC8S in 2002. Production has run since 2003 from a former fighter squadron facility at Ängelholm.
Annual output has stayed in the low tens. The company develops its own engines, transmissions and carbon structures, and holds patents covering its door mechanism, its camless valve actuation and the Regera's direct-drive transmission.
